GSMC D2 Post-Op

His surgery was from 1:35 til 3:10. Thanks to Lew & Kim & Evelyn for waiting with me, Craig came after a bit & dad came too for you to get back to the room. He's expected to be out for 24 hrs & the next 24 are rough trying to get up.... and 7-10 total to get moving....



Dr. Cook said it went really well. He only took about 3.5" out and he was able to use the staple like he wanted... 29mm, a medium size. He said maybe the NG tube will be out Wednesday. I pray so. He said to watch the colostomy closure for infection... because of the activity there. Maybe in 3 days we'll try liquids.... He Lives!! ss

29 He gives strength to the weary

Praise the Lord! We are blessed to hear of the successful surgery, and will continue to pray for a quick recovery. You have both been such a blessing with your honest communication...thanks for being so transparent. :) The Bunns
