After yet another round of car in the shop... I asked Hubbie how he got home yesterday.
He was not quick to respond... finally he said....
He walked from the car spot on the loop.... to home. Oh! That's far.... Could he not find a ride? "He did not want to inconvenience anybody....."
I was in the same situation!! Just a week ago, I was thrilled to have Aimee rescue me!!! Should I have walked?? A firm "No."
So! What do you think???? Was that too far?? Would that have been too far from everybody???

Your husband is insane and you can tell him I said that! Eric or I would have gladly picked him up. Why have friends if you can't "inconvience" them sometimes! Little silly head!
Golly! We live pretty close to you guys. We would have been happy to give him a lift!! Don't do that next time.
I'm with the first two--he should've called someone! Anyone would've been willing and I know you guys would've done it for anyone else, too. Tell him, shame on him and he deserved the hot walk if he was too stubborn (or thoughtful or whatever) to call someone. :-)
Glad he made it safely. I hope the car issues are resolved quickly and not too costly. :-)
Actually it is only 4.6 miles from the car shop to the house. I was walking from 6:00pm to 7:30 pm.
Technically I was walking under the national average. My speed was around 3.06 mph and I think the national average is around 4 mph.
Besides now I know who I can call and bug when I am in a situation like that... LOL
