OH4 Ohio Lightening Bugs

The dusk sky lights up here in OH and we MUST chase lightening bugs!!!

This evening the girls chased with friends and filled their glass jar with lightening bugs!!

They have to be the best bugs... all glow and no bite. The more that 30 were not enough to generate anything more than amusing intermittent lights. One has escaped brightly right by Lovebugs pigtails....

Squeals & laughter reigned as they ran across yards in the hunt. There's oh so many more lightening bugs here... dozens light across the yards. I only see the occasional ones at home... Maybe we could bring our jar home??

Oh, we must free them!
